Daybreak was nearingResurrection | rose photo (c) 2014 Ryan Eidson
The disciples hid in fear
Linens smelled like perfume
The guards held their spears

Earthquakes and angels
The stone was rolled away!
Guards fell like dead men
As night turned into day

Appearances, then vanishes
Not bound by time or space
He has risen, indeed!
He is Love, and Truth, and Grace

The garden is the new Eden
Mary, the picture of the Bride
We are His, and He is ours!
Oh, how He gives us divine life!

All of Moses, Prophets, Writings
Point to Him — can you see?
The entire canon, a Theography
All of Scripture, He alone is key.

Us in Him and He in us
We are already raised at His right side
Our Shepherd, our Master, our Brother and Friend
Praise the Lord, our King is alive!

He’s been there, done that
There is no one to fear
Word as man, pitched His tent
Behold, our God has drawn near.

Remind one another
Of the true freedom found in Him
Jesus Christ — He is growing in us
Let our eternal praise begin!
